Innodisk hopes to achieve sustainable development goals through effective engagement with all stakeholders. Innodisk has established a dedicated CSR team, with members selected from the departments that conduct daily communication with various stakeholders. Through questionnaires, Innodisk can grasp a better understanding of stakeholders’ concerns as well as their respective priorities. Systematic identification can be used as basic references for information disclosure within the Company’s reports. The following is a systematic explanation of the engagement process with stakeholders:

Establish Communication Goals

Innodisk sees the CSR reports as a strategy for sustainable management. Three issues and a total of nine goals were set after discussions by the CSR team. We expect that the disclosure of information in the CSR report will serve as one of the bridges for communication with stakeholders.

Based on our communication goals, the five major indicators, and daily communication with stakeholders, Innodisk has defined six types of stakeholders that require constant communication according to the current business operations, including clients, employees, shareholders, suppliers, subcontractors, and community buildings.

Clients

  • Complete annual satisfaction survey.
  • Complete annual conflict mineral source survey as requested by clients, and declare to avoid any minerals from conflict areas.
  • Employ relevant confidential information protection measures.
  • Issue statements regarding the prohibition of child labor and the place of origin for products.
  • Client inspection of Innodisk’s suppliers.

Employees

  • An employee suggestion box was set up in the cafeteria, allowing employees to voice their opinions at all times.
  • Hold Management and Labor Council.
  • Employee suggestion box.
  • A Management and Labor Council is held every quarter, and representatives from both labor and management are present.

Investors and shareholders

  • Annual General Meetings are held, in which the Chairperson, directors, and the senior managers shall report the Company’s financial statements and status of operation to the general shareholders. At the meeting, the approval of the distribution of surplus and the completion of important resolutions will be conducted.
  • All of the Company’s financial statements and other important financial & business information are announced and disclosed on the Market Observation Post System platform.
  • Hold Annual General Meeting once a year.
  • Regular disclosure of financial and business information.
  • From time to time, major information will be disclosed on MOPS.
  • Establishment of a spokesperson system to reply to shareholders’ questions.

Suppliers

  • Qualified supplier certification.
  • Green supply chain GPM.

  • Update of quality-related documents.
  • Communicate by phone and email from time to time.

Subcontractors

  • Subcontracted products quality control.

Government

  • Reporting the Guidelines for Work Safety and occupational safety and health personnel.
  • Reporting the waste disposal plans.
  • Official documents from Environmental Protection Bureau and Labor Standards Inspection Office from time to time.

Local Communities

  • Notification of certain situations such as power outages, construction, engine room, fire drill, etc.
  • Serve as a member of the management committee to participate in the public affairs of the community.
  • Communicate by phone and email from time to time.
  • Frequent participation in meetings and activities.

Media

  • Release of products information (including new products and technology).
  • Disclosure of company information (awards received, social welfare, etc.
  • Accept interviews from the media from time to time, and invite the media for gatherings.
  • Issue a press release to relevant media once a month on average.

Materiality Assessment

The scope of major considerations defined at this time is mainly based on Innodisk’s Xizhi headquarters, factory operations, and the upstream and downstream scope of the headquarters, and does not cover all the data of affiliated companies and overseas information.
According to the survey results of the materiality assessment process, the stakeholders' concerns on each issue were analyzed, and 9 important key issues of Innodisk were identified after considering the impact of their weights, as shown in red in the figure below:
Innodisk will use this as the cornerstone to realize communication and performance improvement.
