California Proposition 65
California began implementing The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act in 1986, which is also known as CA65 or Prop65. This is mainly to promote safe, clean drinking water, and to promote consumer products without toxic substances that may cause cancer or deformed children.
The scope of Proposition 65 affected all companies that sell products in California. Manufacturers must provide a “clear and reasonable” warning before knowingly exposing anyone to the listed chemicals. Therefore, for specific products, Innodisk has been providing the following warnings on its packaging: “This product contains chemicals that California identifies as substances that cause cancer, congenital defects, or other reproductive harm.”

Our supply chain management practices are guided by the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas and the requirements of the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI).
